2007 Stella Mae
Named for our oldest daughter, Stella Mae is made of Cabernet Sauvignon from Klipsun Vineyards, Merlot from Hedges North Block and Klipsun, and Petit Verdot from Stillwater Creek Vineyard. Dense, aromatic and sultry. Silky, saturated and ridiculously long on the palate. The nose is layered with aromas of incense, sweet toasty oak, vanilla, cocoa, blackberry pie and pencil shavings. Explodes on the palate with flavors of black cassis, deep wild cherry, figs, mint and dark chocolate.
